From theatre to film Jake has been acting since a very early age. Described as playing parts with an edge Jake's most recent film credit was on Reign. He has appeared on numerous DocuDramas and has appeared on a number of independent feature films as both the hero and villain. 

Born and based out of Toronto Jake started training at Young People's theatre and then moved to Second City. From there he graduated from Etobicoke school of the Arts as a Drama major and afterwards received an Honours Bachelor degree from Concordia University's Theatre Major Program. Recently he has trained at Pro Actors Lab and has found a home at the Alza Acting Studio where he feels he has truly elevated his craft. He has also done audition workshops with Brian Levy, accent workshops with Julia Lenardon and clown with Joe De Paul in Montreal. 

Jake's base is the theatre and he has been in over thirty productions since the start of high school. At Concordia he was a founding member of a Ad Hoc theatre collective titled The MAP Project. With MAP he acted and helped produce over ten new works of theatre that performed in both Montreal, Erlangen Germany and NYC. Upon his arrival back in Toronto he became represented by Maggie Dunlop at Oldfield Talent and has immersed himself in the world of film and TV. He is a member of Randy Thomas's Actors Advantage Program and aims to follow in his footsteps and be an actor in a recurring role on a Canadian drama. 

Personally Jake tries to stay active. He has received a black belt in Shotokan Karate and currently boxes numerous times a week. He is a certified advanced Scuba Diver has his Bronze Cross and is a white water Kayaker. His second passion is Photography namely film cameras, his preference is to use a 4x5 view camera and to work in a darkroom. He also has a background in ballet and modern dance. Jake dreams of employing all that he has learned of the craft to a character on Canadian tv.
